About the
SNK AI CHALLENGE 2025

When the SNK Foundation was founded, it was committed to providing concrete opportunities for young Cameroonians to become actors in their own futures. In a world where technology is profoundly transforming societies, mastering advanced digital skills, particularly those related to artificial intelligence ( AI ), has become an essential key to social inclusion and economic autonomy.

Yet this digital revolution benefits only a minority: an urban, connected, and educated elite. The majority of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, rural areas, or those in precarious situations remain excluded from this technological universe. AI, despite being omnipresent in our lives, remains invisible and inaccessible to those who need it most.

It is in the face of this social emergency and growing imbalance that the SNK Foundation launched the SNK AI Challenge 2025.

Goals

At SNK Foundation , we believe that every young person has immense potential, regardless of their background or means. In a world shaped by technology, artificial intelligence (AI) should not be a privilege reserved for a connected elite, but a lever of emancipation accessible to all.

With the SNK IA Challenge 2025, our goals are:
open the doors of AI to young people from working-class neighborhoods, rural areas, and to forgotten talents.

We do not train engineers,

We are raising citizens who are able to understand and use AI to:

  • launch an entrepreneurial project,

  • learn more efficiently,

  • open up to the world,

  • and act for their community.

That's why we launched this pilot program in five cities across Cameroon to create a first generation of inclusive AI ambassadors. Our ambition : to bridge the digital divide and use technology as a tool for social transformation.

“For your life. For your community.” This is the heart of our commitment.

AI offers concrete and accessible opportunities for...

Create your small business

Even without a degree, you can use AI tools to sell, communicate, or organize your work.

Learn more easily

AI can help you understand lessons better, speak other languages, or find answers faster.

Helping your community

Young people can use AI to improve agriculture, healthcare, or solve problems around them.

Making your voice heard in the world

With the right tools, we can create, innovate, and show that Africa has talent.

École à la maison

Why AI for young people?

Because artificial intelligence is already shaping the world, and young Africans must be part of it—not as mere consumers, but as informed actors in this transformation.

Training young Africans in AI means giving them the keys to understanding the world, improving it and taking their rightful place in it.

Target audience

Young people aged 16 to 30 from disadvantaged neighborhoods or rural areas.
